New for the
2010-11 school year, we will be using the FitnessGram assessment.
FitnessGram is a complete battery of health-related fitness items that are
scored using criterion-referenced standards. These standards are age
and gender specific and are established based on how fit children need to
be for good health.

AEROBIC EXERCISES WILL HELP TO REDUCE BLOOD PRESSURE, CONTROL WEIGHT, AND

The USDA has come out with a new food pyramid in
2005. If you go to their website, www.mypyramid.gov/
you will see the changes. The students were introduced to this new
pyramid last spring and we will continue to work with it this year.
