K-12 Curriculum Belief Statements

These belief statements represent the foundation of educational objectives and philosophy. The Office of Curriculum and Instruction developed the belief statements listed through consensus with Development teams of teachers from Kindergarten through 12th grade. They provide a description of values, which will connect District teachers to specific initiatives and best practices. These establish the educational priorities, which will serve to guide all the District's curricular studies. The District's educational programs seek to provide differentiated opportunities for every student to develop to his or her fullest potential.
