Early Entrance Kindergarten

Early Entrance Kindergarten or First Grade

In compliance with the Illinois Accelerated Placement Act (P.A. 100-0421), Wauconda CUSD118 allows exceptions concerning entrance into Kindergarten for those children who are not five years of age on or before September 1 or entrance into First Grade for those children who are not six years of age on or before September 1, who show potential and skills that are found to be in the most superior range when compared to their peers. Please see the following information for the required process and forms. Assessment results and forms must be completed and received by the D118 Curriculum Office by May 1, 2021.
