*New students are those who do NOT currently attend a D118 school.*
If a student currently attends a D118 school and is changing schools, they are STILL a RETURNING STUDENT.
Returning Students need to register through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Need additional assistance? The District will be offering help nights for those who have attempted the online process and are having difficulty completing the process.
**Please note that all buildings will be able to assist any parents who have students enrolled in any of the district schools. You do not have to go to your student's school to complete the process.**

Required Documents to Complete New Student Registration
Birth Certificates
In the State of Illinois, schools are required to have a Birth Certificate on file for each student. Kindergarten or new students to the District are required to furnish a copy of the State Issued Birth Certificate. Hospital-issued Birth Certificates do not meet state requirements.
Proof of Residency
Documents accepted as proof of residency (2 required):
Drivers license
Home ownership title or deed
Apartment lease
Voter registration
Utility bills (water, electric, gas)
Automobile insurance
