MISSION STATEMENT
By building upon partnerships among students, educators, family, and community, District 118 will provide a quality and enriched learning environment where students will become contributing and productive members of society through the commitment to lifelong learning.
District 118 Action Plans are updated annually, responding to the prior year's progress and our highest priority strategic challenges we face in our Five Strategic Areas. The 2026-27 Strategic Plan includes this year's priorities.
Goals
Strategic Area -- Community & Public Relations
Develop and implement collaborative partnerships between District 118 and the community.
Strategic area -- Curriculum & Student Development
Provide and maintain a curriculum through which all students achieve to the maximum potential and are well prepared for future choices.
Strategic area -- Finance & Facilities
Align all resources available to strengthen our educational system and remain financially responsible.
Strategic Area -- Student Experiences
To provide a comprehensive program of student support services to meet the needs of the whole child.
Strategic Area -- Human Resources
Select, develop and evaluate qualified personnel for the delivery and support of district programs.
